Georgia remains second in College Football Playoff Rankings
The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked second in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings of the 2023 season released Tuesday evening by the CFP selection committee.
The Ohio State Buckeyes top the CFP rankings for the second consecutive week, while the Michigan Wolverines are just behind Georgia in third. The Florida State Seminoles (fourth) and Washington Huskies (fifth) round out the top five of the committee’s second set of rankings.
Oregon, Texas, and Alabama are ranked sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively, which makes the top eight teams the same as last week.
The undefeated Bulldogs have recorded one victory over a team that is currently ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings — 30-21 over the 14th-ranked Missouri Tigers. Georgia is scheduled to host No. 9 Ole Miss this Saturday (Nov. 11) before visiting No. 13 Tennessee on Nov. 18.
The Bulldogs are currently ranked number one in the AP Poll and US LBM Coaches Poll.
