Georgia remains first in AP, Coaches polls after win at Georgia Tech

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 31-23 on Saturday, have remained atop the AP and Coaches polls for Week 14.

Georgia (12-0, 8-0 SEC) received 1,540 points in the AP Poll, which is nine less than they received last week. The Bulldogs lost nine first-place votes and are now down to 52. Michigan (12-0), Washington (12-0), Florida State (12-0), and Oregon (11-1) round out the top five in the AP Poll.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,571 points, which is the same as last week. Georgia garnered 59 first-place votes, down two votes from the 61 it received in Week 13.

In the fourth set of College Football Playoff Rankings released last week, the Georgia Bulldogs remained in the top spot. The penultimate set of CFP rankings will be revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Georgia is set to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2023 SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 2 (Buy Tickets). The contest will kickoff at 4:00pm ET with television coverage via CBS.
