Georgia remains first in AP, Coaches polls after crushing Tennessee
The Georgia Bulldogs, who crushed the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, 38-10, have remained atop the AP and Coaches polls for Week 13.
Georgia (11-0, 8-0 SEC) received 1,549 points in the AP Poll, which is nine more than they received last week. The Bulldogs gained seven additional first-place votes and are now up to 61. Ohio State (11-0), Michigan (11-0), Washington (10-0), and Florida State (10-0) round out the top five in the AP Poll.
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,571 points, which is 20 points less than last week. Georgia garnered 61 first-place votes, up three from the 58 it received in Week 12.
In the third set of College Football Playoff Rankings released last week, the Georgia Bulldogs took over the top spot ahead of the Ohio State Buckeyes. The fourth set of CFP rankings will be revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, Nov. 25 against the in-state rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The game will be televised by ABC at 7:30pm ET.
Georgia is also set to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2023 SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 2. That contest will kickoff at 4:00pm ET with television coverage via CBS.
