UGA football roster updated for 2023 season

The UGA football roster has been updated for the 2023 season. The back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs began fall practice on Thursday.

Newcomers to the UGA football roster for the 2023 season include several walk-ons and transfers, plus the remaining recruits that did not enroll early.

Below are players that have been added and removed from the Spring roster, plus a few jersey number changes:

Sophomore defensive back Deyon “Smoke” Bouie, who transferred from Texas A&M, is no longer with the team, per Kirby Smart.

Several Bulldogs transferred following spring practice earlier this year, including DT Bear Alexander (USC), OL Griffin Scroggs (Appalachian State), LB Rian Davis (UCF), OL Weston Wallace (Georgia Southern), and DB Marcus Washington Jr. (Louisville).
