Per the report, Georgia will host Mount St. Mary’s at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2023. The game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools in basketball.

Mount St. Mary’s is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in Division I. The Mountaineers finished the 2022-23 season 13-20 overall and 8-12 in MAAC play.

Georgia will also play in the 2023 Baha Mar Bahamas Hoops Championship, an annual preseason college basketball tournament that is held at the Baha Mar Convention Center in Nassau, Bahamas. Games will be played Friday, Nov. 17 through Sunday, Nov. 19.

Georgia is expected to open the tournament facing the Miami Hurricanes and will then play either the Kansas State Wildcats or Providence Friars in the second contest.
