The UGA basketball SEC opponents for the 2022-23 season have officially been set, the school announced on Wednesday.

Georgia plays their three permanent opponents, Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina, on a home-and-home basis each season. Additionally, the Bulldogs will also play Kentucky and Ole Miss home-and-home this season.

Other SEC opponents heading to Stegeman Coliseum in 2022 include LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, and Vanderbilt.

Georgia’s SEC road games include Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, in addition to the previously mentioned home-and-home opponents.

Georgia’s 2022-23 non-conference schedule has not yet been announced yet, but several opponents are known. UGA will host Bucknell in Athens (date TBA) and will travel to play Georgia Tech (date TBA) and Wake Forest (Friday, Nov. 11).

Additionally, Georgia will play two games in the 2022 Sunshine Slam, which was officially announced on April 13. Georgia will compete in the “Beach Bracket” and will be joined by the UAB Blazers of Conference USA, Saint Joseph Hawks of the Atlantic 10, and the South Florida Bulls of the American Athletic Conference.

The 2022-23 season will be the first for the Georgia Bulldogs under head coach Mike White, who previously held the same position with the Florida Gators for the past seven seasons. White, who began his career at Louisiana Tech, has an overall record of 243-128 (.655) with five NCAA tournament appearances.
