Georgia’s home football game on Saturday, December 19 against the Vanderbilt Commodores has been canceled due to COVID-19, the SEC announced on Monday.
The two schools were scheduled to meet at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Dec. 19. The game was canceled due to “…the Vanderbilt football squad size and position availability falling below roster minimum requirements, consistent with Southeastern Conference COVID-19 protocols.”
The Vanderbilt-Georgia game, which was set to be Senior Day in Athens, has been declared a no contest and will not be rescheduled.
Georgia and Vanderbilt were originally scheduled to play on Saturday, Dec. 5, but the game was postponed due to COVID-19 issues at Vandy and then rescheduled for December 19.
The Georgia Bulldogs are 7-2 this season and currently ranked 9th in the College Football Playoff Rankings that were released last week.
The Bulldogs are rumored to be searching for an opponent to play this weekend, per a report by Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports.

So the game gets postponed on the 5th, but Vandy has enough players to play Tenn. But when Uga comes back up, the don't have enough players again. If they don't wanna play, just say it.
