2021 defensive tackle Marlin Dean decommits from UGA football
Marlin Dean, a three-star defensive tackle from Elberton, Ga., has decommitted from the Georgia Bulldogs.
Dean, a 2021 recruit, announced his decommitment from UGA via his Twitter account on Friday morning.

Marlin Dean (6-6, 265) plays for Elbert County High School. He committed to the Georgia Bulldogs in March.
When he committed to UGA, the 247Sports Composite listed the three-star recruit as No. 408 overall for the 2021 class. Dean’s stock has dropped a little, as he is now listed as No. 457.
Marlin Dean also dropped some in the Rivals.com ratings, moving down from the No. 33 strongside defensive end to No. 37.
Georgia is now down to 10 total commitments for the 2021 recruiting class. The Bulldogs’ class dropped from 13th to 16th following Dean’s decommitment, per the 247Sports class rankings.
