4-star OL Dylan Fairchild commits to Georgia for 2021

Dylan Fairchild, a four-star offensive lineman from Cumming, Ga. (West Forsyth), has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for the class of 2021.
Fairchild announced his commitment to the Bulldogs via his Twitter account on Saturday afternoon.

News of Fairchild’s commitment was quickly followed by the customary “Go Dawgs” tweet from head coach Kirby Smart.

Fairchild (6-5, 298) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over an offer list that includes Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, LSU, Mississippi State, Penn State South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and others.
In the 247Sports Composite, Fairchild is listed as a four-star recruit, the No. 7 offensive guard, and the No. 135 overall recruit for the 2022 class.
Rivals.com rates Fairchild as a three-star recruit and the No. 12 offensive guard in the country.
Dylan Fairchild is the second 2021 commitment for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs this week. On Tuesday, four-star outside linebacker Chaz Chambliss pledged his commitment to Georgia.
UGA now has a total of nine commitments for the 2021 recruiting class and it is currently ranked 12th in the country by 247Sports. Ohio State is currently has the top-ranked class, but they have a total of 18 commitments.
