Three-star defensive end Jaevon Becton of Virginia Beach, Virginia (Ocean Lakes), who pledged to the Georgia Bulldogs back in June, has decommitted from UGA.

In a Twitter post on Wednesday, Becton announced his decision while thanking UGA.

Becton (6-4, 248) committed to the Bulldogs over offers from East Carolina, Maryland, NC State, Old Dominion, Rutgers, Syracuse, UCF, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.

In the 247Sports Composite, Becton is listed as a three-star recruit, the No. 62 weakside defensive end, and the No. 1,134 overall recruit for the 2018 class.

With Becton decommitting, Georgia’s 2018 class is back down to 18 recruits.
