UGA senior center Brandon Kublanow has been named to the 2016 Rimington Trophy Watch List, the Rimington Trophy Committee announced on Tuesday.
Kublanow is one of 57 centers named to the Rimington list and one of eight players from the Southeastern Conference included.
The Rimington Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding center in NCAA FBS football. The winner is chosen by determining the consensus All-American center from three existing All-America teams: Walter Camp Foundation (WCF), Sporting News (SN), and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).
Brandon Kublanow (6-3, 282) is a native of Marietta, Georgia. Last season, he started all 13 games and was named to the Associated Press All-SEC Second Team.
