But Richt’s downfall was likely due to the Bulldogs’ performance in many of their biggest games that past few years. Nevertheless, fellow head coaches and former head coaches offered their thoughts on Mark Richt’s firing.

Love & prayers for a good man who will continue to be a blessing in any position. He was my favorite coach in the last 60 years I have attends many game in Athens.
I think he is a good coach and has class that a lot of other coaches could learn from. Sorry to see this done to him.
It's been a honor to watch you coach the DAWGS, I miss you already
who are you going to hire magarity? you fired the best coach in the country. NO more bowl games for you. by firing richt you fired yourself. Do you remember what happened to Tennessee when they fired Fulmer? you dumb ass.
McGarity looks like that idiot Steven Colbert. A good move would be to fire McGarity and make the best coach we ever had our new AD. That way we will not have to worry about him showing up in Columbia, SC coaching the Gamecocks and beating us 4 out of every 5 times like Spurrier did!
McGarity needs to be fired immediately...!! Coach Richt would have made an EXCELLENT Athletic Director for the University of Georgia...!! To Add, why do we even need ANYBODY from the Univ of Florida to have ANYTHING to do with UGA athletics to start with...?? Think about it...??
I hope coach Richt goes to Miami and wins many championships...!! What an outstanding Christian man who "Truly Leads By Example"...!!
GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR FAMILY COACH MARK RICHT...!!!!
