4-Star WR Charlie Woerner commits to UGA for 2016

Four-star wide receiver Charlie Woerner of Tiger, Georgia (Rabun County) has committed to UGA for the class of 2016.
“I already knew coming into Dawg Night that I was going to commit,” Woerner told Dawgs247. “I was just waiting to talk to my family. I knew about a week or two ago – I just kind of figured it out finally.”
Charlie Woerner (6-5, 230) is the nephew of Bulldog great Scott Woerner. He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, and Tennessee.
In the 247Sports Composite rankings, Woerner is listed as a 4-star recruit, the No. 18 wide receiver, and the No. 114 overall recruit in the nation for 2016.
Rivals.com also rates Woerner 4-stars and the No. 11 tight end in the country.
Georgia now has 14 commitments for the class of 2016 and three are wide receivers. Woerner joins Darion Anderson and Randrecous Davis.
