ATHENS, Ga. – The Georgia Bulldogs welcomed a large contingent of former Bulldogs to their Saturday afternoon practice, the third of 15 sessions this spring.
“It was good to have our lettermen here,” head coach Mark Richt said. “We had over 150 or so. It was great to host them today. We caught great weather for that.”
Saturday marked the first workout where the Bulldogs donned shoulder pads as the competition heats up for players looking to make an impact this spring and fall.
“We’re repping a lot of guys,” Richt said. “There are a lot of good things, a lot of bad things too. There’s a lot of opportunity right now but guys have to take care of business if they expect to get some playing time. They have to earn their position.”
The Bulldogs are working toward their annual G-Day game at Sanford Stadium, which is slated for 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11. The Bulldogs will open their 2015 season against the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Athens on September 5.

A lot of holes at different positions. We had a good 2014 season going 10-3 I hope past players like Todd Hurley shows out on Georgia's pro day. And he makes some nfl team out there and good football player.
