The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked third in the preseason AP Poll ahead of the 2026 college football season. UGA, coming off a 12–2 campaign and a second consecutive SEC Championship, earned seven first-place votes and totaled 1,513 points.
Georgia also sits third in the preseason Coaches Poll, which was released one week ago.
Four of Georgia’s opponents in 2026 are ranked in the preseason AP Poll. Georgia will face No. 9 Ole Miss, No. 10 Oklahoma, No. 13 Alabama, and No. 25 Missouri.
The complete Top 5 of the preseason AP Poll is Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Texas. Rounding out the Top 10 are Indiana, Miami FL, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma.
