Due to travel and field conditions resulting from this week’s winter storm, Friday’s baseball season opener with Georgia Southern has been postponed.

The series will feature a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon. Both games will be nine innings. Saturday’s ticket for the Georgia-GSU baseball contest will be good for admission to both games of the doubleheader.

Fans holding a ticket for Friday’s postponed game can exchange that ticket for any remaining regular season game at Foley Field this year provided tickets are still available. The tickets can be exchanged at the Foley Field Box Office which opens two hours before every game.

Also of note for Saturday’s doubleheader, fans that show a ticket for Saturday’s Georgia men’s basketball game are eligible to purchase a general admission ticket to the baseball contests for only $2. Regular ticket prices are $5 for general admission and $8 for a reserved seat.

The final game of the baseball series remains Sunday at 1 p.m.
