The SEC announced the 2013 conference Spring sport schedules this afternoon which includes UGA baseball. Georgia opens SEC play at Texas A&M on March 15, 2013.
The 2012-13 schedule for baseball and other Spring sports is, like the 2012 football schedule, not based on any past or future scheduling patterns. Athletic directors from each of the 14 schools will meet to discuss future scheduling formats at a later date.
Georgia faces both new SEC members in 2013. The Diamond Dawgs travel to Texas A&M to open conference play March 15-17. The Bulldogs then host Missouri in Athens April 5-7.
Other teams that will visit Foley Field in 2013 include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, and Vanderbilt. Georgia will travel to take on Auburn, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee.
