Georgia’s first opponent, the Boise State Broncos, are ranked 7th in the poll. The Dawgs take on the Broncos on Saturday, September 3 in the 2011 Chick-fil-A College Kickoff in Atlanta.
South Carolina, the second opponent for the Dawgs, is ranked 12th in the initial poll. There is a slight chance the Gamecocks could enter the Top Ten after week one which would give Georgia two consecutive games against Top Ten teams to open the season.

This is about right given the implosion that was 2010. If we go 1-1 in the first two games we can take the East especially if the loss is to Boise; however, if we go 2-0 then the East would be almost guaranteed to be ours to lose. An 0-2 start would be the beginning of the end of the Mark Richt era...
