I really don't get this. How many times do we have athletes with suspended licenses? It's simple....Have one of the interns create an excel chart with every player's license and the expiration date. The intern will notify the player a month in advance of the expiration date. If that date passes and the player doesn't get the license renewed, they aren't allowed into any practice facility until they get that done. You can do it on-line for crying out loud. It takes 10 minutes!!!
Randy, It is a little more complicated than that, but not by much. He was on a suspended license not an expired license. I do like your idea, but the intern would need to cycle through all of the players using the instructions above to make sure that they didn't have a suspended license. Got to figure he/she could do that in a day. So, Monday is dedicated to checking license status. Gives them a week to get it fixed before game time.

How does it seem that we are the only team that gets busted for this? It's pretty easy, pay the fine or go to court. And Randy, I'm sure one of those attractive co-eds that leads recruits on campus tours could make themself useful and find out who on the team has valid driver's licenses and who doesn't.
These suspended license issues just won't stop...why is it so hard to keep up with the status? if I can do it,anybody can.I hope on September 1,when McGarity takes over the Athletic Dept,he will tighten the screws on all student-athletes regarding drivers licenses.Well,I can hope.
