Georgia Defeats Arkansas 77-64 in 1st Round of SEC Tournament
Trey Thompkins had 23 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the Georgia Bulldogs over the Arkansas Razorbacks 77-64 in the first round of the 2010 SEC Tournament in Nashville.
Travis Leslie scored 21 points for the Dawgs, while Dustin Ware and Ricky McPhee each added 10.
Back in February, Georgia led Arkansas by 15 points at halftime at home. But the Dawgs couldn’t hold on and lost 72-68.
Georgia, the East 6 seed, faces the Vanderbilt Commodores, the East 2 seed, tonight at 9:45 p.m. in the Quarterfinals. The game will be televised by the SEC Network.
