Georgia Bulldogs Placed in the Tallahassee Baseball Regional

The Georgia Bulldogs, eliminated from the SEC Tournament by the LSU Tigers, have been placed in the Tallahassee NCAA Baseball Regional and will be the no. 2 seed. The Dawgs will face no. 3 seed Ohio State on Friday (noon; ESPNU). In their second game, Georgia will face either no. 1 seed Florida State or no. 4 seed Marist.

Like the SEC Tournament, the NCAA Regionals are double-elimination. The winner of the Regional will advance to the Super Regionals, which is a best two-of-three series.
