The Diamond Dawgs, losers of 9 of their last 11 games, will face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (33-12-1; 16-8-1 ACC) tonight at Turner Field in Atlanta at 7:00 p.m. Georgia (34-17; 15-12 SEC) is struggling after starting the season 32-8 and being ranked as high as number one.
Tonight’s game is dubbed the “Spring Classic for Kids” with proceeds benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the gate.
In their meeting in Athens on April 14, Georgia Tech beat the Bulldogs 11-6. The March 25th game in Atlanta was canceled due to inclement weather.
