Taurean Rawlins, DJ Dotson commit to Georgia football for 2027

Georgia football picked up a pair of 2027 commitments Sunday from wide receiver Taurean Rawlins and offensive tackle DJ Dotson.

Taurean Rawlins, who stands 6-foot-0 and 170 pounds, plays at Mount Vernon High School in Sandy Springs, Ga. He chose the Bulldogs over offers from Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio State, and others.

According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, Rawlins is a three-star prospect across major recruiting services, ranking as the No. 64 wide receiver lineman nationally and the No. 458 overall recruit.

DJ Dotson, who also committed to Georgia Sunday, hails from Hattiesburg, Miss., where he lines up for Oak Grove High School. He pledged to Kirby Smart and Georgia over offers from schools such as Auburn, Georgia Tech, LSU, and Ole Miss.

At 6-foot-7, 320 pounds, Dotson is rated as a three-star prospect across major recruiting services, ranking as the No. 72 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 933 overall recruit according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Taurean Rawlins and DJ Dotson are the ninth and tenth commitments for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2027 class. Georgia’s class is currently ranked No. 23 in the Rivals 2027 Industry Team Rankings.
