Georgia finishes outside the top five in final AP Poll for 2025 season
The Georgia Bulldogs have finished outside the top five in the final AP Top 25 Poll for 2025, settling in at No. 6 for the second consecutive season.
Georgia finished the season 12-2 overall after falling to the Ole Miss Rebels in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 1, 2026. The Bulldogs entered the game ranked second in the AP Poll, but dropped four spots to sixth.
The Indiana Hoosiers finished No. 1 in the AP Poll after they defeated the Miami Hurricanes 27-21 to win the College Football Playoff National Championship. The Hoosiers finished their championship season 16-0 and claimed their first-ever national title.
Runner-up Miami finished second in the final AP Top 25 rankings. Ole Miss, Oregon, and Ohio State round out the final top five. Check out the complete rankings below.

Georgia is scheduled to open the 2026 season against the Tennessee State Tigers at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Sept. 5. The Bulldogs host Western Kentucky the following week on Sept. 12 before opening SEC action on the road on Sept. 12 against Arkansas.
