Georgia has added to its quarterback depth with the addition of Oregon’s Bryson Beaver, who announced his commitment to the Bulldogs on January 16.

Beaver, a four‑star recruit, is the No. 13 quarterback in the Rivals Industry Ranking for the 2026 class. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound passer signed with the Oregon Ducks, but entered the transfer portal after the Ducks added Dylan Raiola from Nebraska and starter Dante Moore announced his return to Eugene.

A four‑star prospect out of Vista Murrieta High School in California, Beaver put up strong production across his final two prep seasons. As a senior, he completed 153 of 237 passes for 1,753 yards and 18 touchdowns, adding two more scores on the ground. His junior year was even more prolific: 3,214 passing yards, 33 touchdowns, just six interceptions, plus 411 rushing yards on 58 carries.

Georgia, having losing five‑star Jared Curtis late in the cycle, needed a high‑upside addition to its future quarterback room, and Beaver fills that gap. With Gunner Stockton entering his final season and young talents like Ryan Puglisi and Ryan Montgomery behind him, Beaver steps into a competitive but opportunity‑rich environment. His combination of arm talent and long‑term eligibility gives the Bulldogs a developmental quarterback with real upside.
