How to watch the Georgia-Ole Miss game: Sugar Bowl TV channel, streaming

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to face the Ole Miss Rebels in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La.

The 3rd-seed Bulldogs (12-1) and 6th-seed Rebels (11-1) will be featured on traditional television on Thursday, with the contest aired nationally via ESPN at 8:00pm ET / 7:00pm CT. The game will also be available to stream. Sean McDonough will call the play-by-play, Greg McElroy will provide analysis, while Molly McGrath and Laura Rutledge will report from the sidelines.

How can you watch the Georgia-Ole Miss game? Below are the methods to watch the game on ESPN and via online streaming.

ESPN

The Georgia vs. Ole Miss game will be available to watch live on ESPN beginning at 8:00pm ET. ESPN is broadcast by DirecTV on Channel 206 (HD) and 1206 (SD), DISH on Channel 140, and AT&T U-verse on Channel 602 (SD) and 1602 (HD). For other providers, such as your local cable company, check your local listings or a search engine.

In order to stream the game on ESPN, you will need to go to the WatchESPN website or the ESPN app on your device. After selecting the Georgia-Ole Miss game, you will be asked to login using your qualifying TV provider credentials mentioned above (if you are not already logged in).

ESPN App

If you have a cable (Charter, Spectrum, etc.), satellite (DISH or DirecTV), or a streaming subscription (YouTube TV, Hulu, etc.) and ESPN is part of your plan, then you also have access to streaming via the ESPN App.

In order to stream the game via ESPN, you will need to go to the WatchESPN website or the ESPN app on your device. After selecting the Georgia-Ole Miss game, you will be asked to login using your qualifying TV provider credentials mentioned above (if you are not already logged in).

Earlier this year, ESPN launched its new direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming service, which makes ESPN’s full suite of 12 networks available directly to fans. If you do not have access to ESPN via a TV partner, you will need to subscribe to the ESPN Unlimited plan to view the Georgia-Ole Miss game via ESPN.

The ESPN Unlimited plan is currently $29.99 per month, or you can pay an annual fee of $299.99, which saves you $59.89. Note that this plan is separate from the ESPN Select plan, which only includes ESPN+. The Georgia-Ole Miss game is not available to stream via ESPN+.


ESPN will also present a Georgia Radio broadcast of the Georgia-Ole Miss game on ESPN Unlimited and a SkyCast of the game with the Georgia Radio broadcast via ESPN2.

If Georgia defeats Ole Miss, the Bulldogs will advance to the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026. The Bulldogs would play the Miami Hurricanes in that contest. The other semifinal is set, which will see Oregon take on top-seed Indiana in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026.
