Georgia moves up in AP Poll after road win at Tennessee

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 44-41 in overtime on Saturday, have moved up in the AP Poll for Week 4.

Georgia moved up one spot to No. 5 in the AP Poll following its comeback win. The Bulldogs received 1,428 points in the AP Poll, which is 78 more points than they received in last week’s poll.

The Top 3 of the AP Poll also remains unchanged again this week. The Ohio State Buckeyes are on top, and they are followed by Penn State in second and LSU in third. Miami move up one spot and is now ranked No. 4.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs remain No. 3. Georgia received 1,501 points, which is 12 points more than last week.

Following a bye this weekend, the Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, Sept. 27 against the No. x Alabama Crimson Tide at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will be televised by ABC and streamed via ESPN3 at 7:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
