Georgia remains fifth in AP Poll after win over Auburn

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated Auburn on Saturday, 31-13, have remained fifth in the AP Poll for Week 7.
Georgia received 1,299 points in the AP Poll, which is 30 less than it received in the Week 6 poll. The Texas Longhorns took over the top spot in the AP Poll following Alabama’s loss at Vanderbilt, with Ohio State in second, Oregon in third, and Penn State in fourth.
Oregon and Penn State both leapfrogged Georgia in the AP Poll.
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs garnered 1,174 points, up from the 1,153 points it received last week. That was enough to move Georgia up a spot to No. 4, just ahead of Penn State. The top three in the Coaches Poll is the same as the AP Poll — Texas, Ohio State, and Oregon.
