Gametime 2015 – Southern at No. 7 Georgia

Today, the 7th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs host the Southern Jaguars at Sanford Stadium in Athens. The game will be televised by the SEC Network at noon ET.

Georgia is 3-0 (2-0 SEC) this season after defeating ULM 51-14, Vanderbilt 31-14, and South Carolina 52-20.

Southern University, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision.

With a win today, head coach Mark Richt would tie Wally Butts with 140 victories at UGA. Overall, Richt is 139-48 (.743).

Nick Chubb is also chasing a record held by Herschel Walker. Chubb has rushed for 100+ yards in 11 consecutive games and trails Walker by only two.
