Georgia held firm at No. 2 in the Week 6 college football rankings after a steady 38–14 win over Vanderbilt, a game that was competitive early before the Bulldogs methodically pulled away.

Gunner Stockton threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns, and Georgia’s defense clamped down in the second half, allowing just seven points after halftime.

The Bulldogs retained the No. 2 spot in the AP Poll with 1,647 points, a modest one‑point uptick from last week that reflects a largely unchanged national perception. The AP Top 5 remains intact: Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami, and Ohio State.

The Coaches Poll offers a slightly different picture at the top, with Indiana holding the No. 5 position. Ohio State and Alabama sit just outside the top tier at Nos. 6 and 7, while BYU, Ole Miss, and LSU round out the Top 10.
