Nick Carroll, a four-star safety out of Lyons, Ga., has committed to Georgia football for the class of 2028.

Carroll committed to the Bulldogs on Thursday over offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and others.

At 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, Carroll is listed as a four-star prospect across major recruiting services, ranking as the No. 5 safety nationally and the No. 64 overall recruit according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Carroll is a two-way player who not only lines up at safety, but can also play wide receiver as well. During his time at Toombs County, Carroll has recorded 71 receptions for 1,127 yards and 13 touchdowns.

“Coach T-Rob (safeties coach Travaris Robinson) and Coach Thacker (nickels coach Andrew Thacker) have both done a good job staying in contact with me and making me feel like a priority,” Carroll told UGASports back in August. “The message has really been that they believe in my ability and see me as somebody who can come in and make an impact.”

Nick Carroll is the third commitment for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2028 class. He joins tight end Asa Wall and quarterback Jayden Wade.
