Georgia holds in college football rankings after Oklahoma win

Georgia held firm at No. 2 in the Week 5 college football rankings following a 41-13 drubbing of Oklahoma on Saturday.

The Bulldogs retained the No. 2 spot in the AP Poll with 1,646 points — a 66‑point increase from last week — as voters rewarded Georgia’s dominance over the Sooners. The updated AP Top 5 stands as: (1) Texas, (2) Georgia, (3) Notre Dame, (4) Miami, (5) Ohio State.

The Coaches Poll features a slightly different look at the top, with Miami rising to No. 4 and Indiana dropping spot to No. 5. Ohio State and Alabama sit just outside the top tier at Nos. 6 and 7, respectively, while Florida vaults to No. 8 after its 52-28 domination of Ole Miss.
