Alius Mayo, a 2027 four-star cornerback and junior college transfer, has flipped his commitment from Cal to Georgia football.
Mayo, the No. 1 overall prospect in the Rivals Junior College rankings, played for Lincoln High School in Stockton, Calif. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound standout currently plays for Modesto Junior College.
At Modesto, Mayo has played in 14 total games, amassing 39 tackles (31 solo), one tackle for loss, three interceptions, and seven pass break-ups.
Mayo committed to Cal on August 2, and he officially visited Athens for the Oklahoma game on Saturday.
Alius Mayo is the 21st commitment for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2027 class and first cornerback. Georgia’s class is now ranked No. 14 in the Rivals 2027 Industry Team Rankings.
