Mading Kuany commits to Georgia basketball
Mading Kuany, a 2026 forward out of Iowa United Prep, has committed to Georgia basketball, according to a report from 247Sports.

Kuany (6-8, 190) is a native of Australia, and played his senior season of high school basketball at Iowa United in Norwalk, Iowa. Kuany is listed as the No. 76 small forward and No. 320 overall prospect in the 2026 class, per the Rivals Industry Ranking.
Mading Kuany is the fourth prep commitment for head coach Mike White and Georgia, and follows the commitments of Hakeem Weems, Donovan Williams Jr., and Nigerian forward David Ugonna.
Georgia has also signed five players out of the NCAA Transfer Portal: forward James Scott (Ole Miss), guard Freddie Dilione IV (Penn State), forward Brady Dunlap (Saint Louis), and center Andrew Osasuyi (St. Bonaventure). Also committed to the Bulldogs is JUCO guard Kemauri “Kemo” Millender, the younger brother of current Bulldog Marcus “Smurf” Millender.
Blue Cain, Kanon Catchings, Markel Jennings, Marcus “Smurf” Millender, Kareem Stagg, and Brandon Klatsky are also set to return to play for the Bulldogs next season.
