Georgia football lands three pivotal transfer portal commitments

Georgia football made one of its most impactful splashes of the offseason on Thursday, landing three transfer portal commitments that immediately bolster depth and address key roster needs. The Bulldogs added Auburn defensive lineman Amaris Williams, Georgia Tech wide receiver Isiah Canion, and USC cornerback Braylon Conley, marking a rare but efficient portal haul for a program that typically supplements its roster rather than rebuilds through transfers.

Canion was the first transfer to announce Thursday. The 6-foot-4 wideout brings size, physicality, and proven ACC production after posting 33 catches for 480 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Yellow Jackets. With Georgia replacing six of its top seven pass‑catchers, Canion steps into a room hungry for experience and playmaking.

Conley followed soon after, giving Georgia a young, athletic corner with three years of eligibility remaining. He logged 13 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a forced fumble as a redshirt freshman at USC, and he’ll help add to a secondary hit by multiple portal departures.

The day closed with Williams, a disruptive defensive end who flashed SEC‑level burst at Auburn. He recorded 6.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in 2025 and adds needed punch to Georgia’s pass rush rotation.

Friday will likely deliver more transfer portal action for the Bulldogs. Georgia has hosted several transfers this week, and could land commitments later today.
