No. 1 overall prospect Jayden Wade commits to Georgia football for 2028
Jayden Wade, the No. 1 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking, has committed to Georgia football for the class of 2028.
Wade is a 6-foot-3.5, 183-pound quarterback out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. A California native, Jayden Wade committed to the Bulldogs on Sunday over offers from Ohio State, Texas, Colorado, Florida, Miami, and others.

“Everyone there works together and is on the same page,” Wade told Rivals in September. “They have the same goal, they work hard, and that is one of the things I really like about Georgia… They don’t feed into the noise — they just want to work at Georgia. I like the competition there and how it is all about business.”
Following Wade’s commitment, head coach Kirby Smart posted his usual “Go Dawgs !!” to his X account.

Jayden Wade is the second commitment for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2028 class. He joins tight end Asa Wall, who committed to the Bulldogs last month.
