The Georgia Bulldogs will face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2025 SEC Championship Game following the results of league games this weekend.
Georgia and Alabama will square off on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The game will be televised by ABC and streamed via ESPN3 at 4:00pm ET.
The Georgia Bulldogs clinched their spot in the 2025 SEC Championship Game on Black Friday when the Texas A&M Aggies fell to the Texas Longhorns. Then on Saturday, the Alabama Crimson Tide punched their ticket to Atlanta after they defeated the Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl, 27-20.
Georgia (11-1, 7-1 SEC) is currently No. 4 in the College Football Playoff (CFP) Rankings, while Alabama (10-2, 7-1 SEC) is ranked No. 10. Since both teams have the same conference record, Alabama won the right to be the home team in the SEC Championship Game by virtue of its head-to-head victory over Georgia earlier this season, 24-21.
Georgia will be making its 13th appearance in the SEC Championship Game. The Bulldogs, who defeated Texas last season, 22-19 in overtime, have a 5-7 record in the SEC Championship Game.
Alabama will be making its conference-leading 16th SEC Championship Game appearance. In their last appearance in 2023, the Crimson Tide defeated the Bulldogs, 27-24, and are currently 11-4 overall in the SEC Championship Game.
