Georgia remains 5th in AP, Coaches polls following Mississippi State win

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs 41-21 on Saturday, have held their position in the college football rankings for Week 12.

Georgia (8-1, 6-1 SEC) remained No. 5 in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll following the victory over the Bulldogs of Mississippi State. The Bulldogs received 1,353 points in the AP Poll, which is 11 less than they received in last week’s poll.

The Top 5 of the AP Poll remains the same as last week. Ohio State continues its reign as the top-ranked team, followed by (2) Indiana, (3) Texas A&M, (4), Alabama, and (5) Georgia. The Top 5 of the Coaches Poll again mirrors the AP Poll.
