Georgia football offensive lineman Monroe Freeling has been named the SEC Offensive Line Player of the Week, the SEC announced Monday.
Freeling, who hails from Charleston, S.C., was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in the Bulldogs’ 20-10 victory on the road against the Auburn Tigers. Freeling had four knockdown blocks and allowed no pressures or sacks in the contest, while working on an offensive line that featured six different lineup combinations.
The No. 9 Georgia Bulldogs are next scheduled to host the No. 5 Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will be televised by ABC and streamed via ESPN3 at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
