The Georgia Bulldogs picked up two verbal commitments for the 2027 recruiting class over the weekend, and both are offensive linemen.
Kyson Mallard (6-5, 310), a three-star recruit from Westover High School in Albany, Ga., committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and others.
“It’s everything I dreamed of,” Mallard told UGASports.com when he received a Georgia offer this spring. “They have always been one of my favorite teams.”
Mallard is the first offensive line commitment for Georgia for the 2027 class, but he would be joined shortly afterwards by Kelsey Adams out of Langston Hughes High School in Atlanta, Ga. Adams (6-5, 260), who is rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals, 247, and ESPN, committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Tennessee, and others.
“My favorite thing about Georgia is how they put players in the league,” Adams told Rivals earlier this year. “If you play there, you have a chance to make it out. They coach their players up.”
With the addition of Kyson Mallard and Kelsey Adams, Georgia now has four commitments for the class of 2027. Georgia’s 2027 class is currently ranked No. 7 in the country by Rivals.com.
