Georgia football sets 2025 Homecoming game

The Georgia football Homecoming game for the 2025 season has been set, the school announced Thursday.
Georgia’s 2025 Homecoming game will be played on Saturday, Oct. 4 against the Kentucky Wildcats at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The Georgia-Kentucky game will kickoff at noon ET and will be televised by either ABC or ESPN.
Kentucky, which finished the 2024 season 4-8 and 1-7 in SEC play, is entering its 13th season under head coach Mark Stoops. Georgia is coming off of an SEC Championship season and College Football Playoff Quarterfinal appearance. The Bulldogs wrapped up the 2024 season 11-3 overall (6-2 SEC).
The Bulldogs last hosted the Kentucky Wildcats for Homecoming on Oct. 16, 2021. Georgia defeated Kentucky 30-13 in that contest.
In all of their Homecoming games, the Georgia Bulldogs hold a 82-18-2 record. Last season, Georgia defeated Auburn, 31-13, in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, which was also Homecoming for the Bulldogs.
Georgia’s 2025 Homecoming game is preceded by a home contest against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, Sept. 27 (7:30pm ET, ABC). Following the Homecoming game against Kentucky this season, the Bulldogs are scheduled to visit the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 11 (6:00-8:00pm ET).
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to open the 2025 season at home against the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday, Aug. 30. The game will be televised live by ESPN at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
