The SEC portion of Georgia’s 2025-26 basketball schedule has been officially announced by the conference. The season will be the fourth under head coach Mike White.
Georgia’s schedule includes five Saturday home contests and five Saturday road contests. Midweek games will be played on either a Tuesday or Wednesday, with the exact dates to be announced later.
The Bulldogs open up SEC play on Saturday, Jan. 3 at home against the Auburn Tigers inside Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga. Other home SEC games for the Bulldogs include Ole Miss (Jan. 13-14), Arkansas (Jan. 17), Tennessee (Jan. 27-28), Texas A&M (Jan. 31), Florida (Feb. 10-11), Texas (Feb. 21), South Carolina (Feb. 28), and Alabama (March 3-4).
Conference road games for Georgia include Florida (Jan. 6-7), South Carolina (Jan. 10), Missouri (Jan. 20-21), Texas (Jan. 24), LSU (Feb. 7), Oklahoma (Feb. 14), Kentucky (Feb. 17-18), Vanderbilt (Feb. 25-26), and Mississippi State (March 7).
Georgia previously announced its non-conference basketball schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Bulldogs will open the season at home on Monday, Nov. 3 against the Bellarmine Knights. Two days later on Wednesday, Nov. 5, the Bulldogs will host the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks (UMES).
Next, the Morehead State Eagles will visit Stegeman Coliseum on Sunday, Nov. 9, five days before the Bulldogs host the in-state rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Friday, Nov. 14. Then it’s the Florida A&M Rattlers making the trek to Athens on Monday, Nov. 17.
The Bulldogs will then depart Athens to play in the 2025 Charleston Classic in Charleston, S.C., along with Clemson, West Virginia, and Xavier. Georgia will play two games in that tournament, beginning Friday, Nov. 21 and concluding Sunday, Nov. 23.
The Bulldogs return home to host the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 29 before traveling to take on the Florida State Seminoles in a 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge matchup on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Following winter exams, Georgia will return to the hardcourt to host the Western Carolina Catamounts on Thursday, Dec. 18, West Georgia Wolves on Monday, Dec. 22, and LIU Sharks on Monday, Dec. 29.
An additional non-conference game was reported by the Athens Banner-Herald, but has not yet been officially announced. Per the report, Georgia will face Cincinnati in Holiday Hoopsgiving 2025 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday, Dec. 13.
