Georgia football junior offensive lineman Drew Bobo has been named to the 2025 Rimington Trophy Watch List, the Rimington Trophy Committee has announced.
Bobo is one of 40 centers named to the Rimington list this season. Other SEC centers named to the list include Parker Brailsford (Alabama), Caden Kitler (Arkansas), Connor Lew (Auburn), Jake Slaughter (Florida), Connor Tollison (Missouri), and Jordan White (Vanderbilt).
The ACC and Big 12 lead the Rimington Trophy Watch List with nine nominations each, followed by the Big Ten and SEC with seven each.
The Rimington Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding center in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The winner is chosen by determining the consensus All-American center from three existing All-America teams: Walter Camp Foundation (WCF), Sporting News (SN), and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).
Drew Bobo (6-5, 305) is the son of former Georgia quarterback and current Bulldog offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. Last season as a sophomore, Bobo played appeared in all 14 games and made starts against Auburn and Mississippi State. He also completed a nine-yard pass on a fake punt in the fourth quarter of Georgia’s SEC Championship victory over Texas.
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to open the 2025 season at home against the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday, Aug. 30. The game will be televised live by ESPN at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
