Beau Gardner named to 2025 Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List

Georgia football long snapper Beau Gardner has been named to the 2025 Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission has announced.

The award is named after Patrick Mannelly, who is widely regarded as the best long snapper in the modern NFL era. It’s given annually to the nation’s best long snapper in college football.

Gardner (6-5, 250) is a graduate student who hails from San Francisco, Calif. He graduated from UCLA and transferred to UGA last year. Following the 2024 season, Gardner was named a Coaches First Team All-SEC selection and was also named a Patrick Mannelly Award Finalist.

Semifinalists for the 2025 Patrick Mannelly Award will be announced Monday, Nov. 17, followed by the Finalists on Monday, Dec. 1. The winner of the award will be revealed on Saturday, Dec. 13.

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to open the 2025 season at home against the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday, Aug. 30. The game will be televised live by ESPN at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
