The Georgia Bulldogs have added the West Georgia Wolves to their 2025-26 basketball schedule, per a report from Made For March.
Georgia will host West Georgia on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025 at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., and the Bulldogs will pay the Wolves a $90,000 guarantee, per the report.
The 2025 Georgia-West Georgia game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the hardcourt.
West Georgia is a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference in Division I. The Wolves finished the 2024-25 season 6-25 overall and 4-14 in conference play, which was their first season at the Division I level.
Georgia is also scheduled to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at home this fall on a date to be announced. Additionally, it has been reported that the Bulldogs will play in the 2025 Charleston Classic along with Clemson, West Virginia, and Xavier.
The 2025-26 season will be the fourth for Georgia under head coach Mike White. The Bulldogs finished the 2024-25 season 20-13 overall (8-10 SEC) and played in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015.
