NFL Draft
Dylan Fairchild, Jared Wilson selected in third round of 2025 NFL Draft

The Georgia Bulldogs’ strong presence in the 2025 NFL Draft continued into Day Two, as two more offensive linemen heard their names called in the third round. Dylan Fairchild was selected 81st overall by the Cincinnati Bengals, while Jared Wilson was picked 95th overall by the New England Patriots. Their selections bring Georgia’s total to six players drafted within the first three rounds.
Fairchild, a rugged and versatile interior lineman, spent four seasons in Athens and developed into a key part of Georgia’s offensive success. Measuring 6-foot-5 and weighing 310 pounds, he started 18 games during his college career and showcased the ability to play both guard spots. Known for his physical run blocking and steady improvement in pass protection, Fairchild brings a competitive edge that fits perfectly with the Bengals’ emphasis on fortifying their offensive line.
Wilson, on the other hand, emerged as Georgia’s starting center in 2024 and anchored the middle of the Bulldogs’ offensive front. At 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, Wilson started every game at center during his final season, displaying excellent command of the line of scrimmage. His ability to diagnose defenses, execute shotgun snaps cleanly, and hold firm against interior pressure made him a highly valued prospect. New England adds Wilson to a long-standing tradition of strong, smart centers who can be the cornerstone of their offensive protection schemes.
Both Fairchild and Wilson stood out not just for their physical traits, but for their football intelligence, toughness, and experience playing in a championship-level program. Their development under Georgia’s staff prepared them well for the transition to the professional ranks.
With six Bulldogs selected across the first three rounds, Georgia once again demonstrated why it remains one of college football’s top pipelines to the NFL. Fairchild and Wilson now aim to carry on that tradition with the Bengals and Patriots, where they have an opportunity to compete early and help strengthen two playoff hopeful rosters.
