Georgia football running back Branson Robinson will enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per a report from Rivals.
Branson Robinson appeared in the first six games of the season during his redshirt junior season in 2024 and started in the Aflac Kickoff Game vs. Clemson. He didn’t play the remainder of the season after suffering an injury against Mississippi State on Oct. 12.
In 18 games played for the Bulldogs in 2022 and 2024, Robinson rushed 93 times for 403 yards and six touchdowns. He also caught seven passes for 35 yards.
Robinson did not see the field for Georgia during the 2023 season due to an injury he sustained in fall camp.
With Robinson in the portal, Kirby Smart is now left with a running back room that consists of Nate Frazier, Cash Jones, Rod Robinson, Dwight Phillips Jr., Chauncey Bowens, and Bo Walker.
The NCAA Transfer Portal closes on April 22, so Smart has just under a week to add some depth to the running back ranks in Athens.
