G-Day 2025 on Saturday, April 12 will kickoff at 1:00pm ET, the school announced Tuesday.
The annual Red vs. Black Spring game, which is played at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., will not be televised or streamed live, unfortunately. A taped spring football program featuring the Bulldogs will air at a later date.
With G-Day on April 12 this year, the annual game will take place one week prior to Easter weekend. However, G-Day will be played the same week as the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Ga., which is slated for April 10-13, 2025.
Georgia began Spring practice on Tuesday, March 11. The Bulldogs will practice a total of 15 times, which includes the G-Day game.
Tickets for G-Day will be sold through the school and will cost $10 each. G-Day tickets go on sale Monday, March 31 at noon ET.
UGA also announced the complete schedule for G-Day, which is listed below (all times Eastern):
7:00am – Free parking opens
10:30am – Sanford Stadium gates open
10:45am – Annual Letterman’s Flag Football Game
11:50am – DawgWalk
1:00pm – G-Day Game kickoff
Georgia is scheduled to open the 2025 season on Saturday, Aug. 30 at home against the Marshall Thundering Herd. The Bulldogs host Austin Peay the following week on Sept. 6 before opening SEC action on the road on Sept. 13 against Tennessee.
