With G-Day on April 12 this year, the annual game will take place one week prior to Easter weekend. However, G-Day will be played the same week as the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Ga., which is slated for April 10-13, 2025.
Kickoff for the G-Day game will be announced later and it will likely be televised by an ESPN network or the SEC Network, or streamed exclusively via SEC Network+/ESPN+.
Based on the reported G-Day date and past seasons, the Bulldogs will likely begin Spring practice on Tuesday, March 11. Georgia will practice a total of 15 times, which includes the G-Day game.
The Georgia Bulldogs won the SEC Championship in 2024, finishing 11-3 overall and 6-2 in the SEC. Georgia closed out the season with a 23-10 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
Georgia is scheduled to open the 2025 season against the Marshall Thundering Herd at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Aug. 30. The Bulldogs host Austin Peay the following week on Sept. 6 before opening SEC action on the road on Sept. 13 against Tennessee.
