How to watch the SEC Championship: Georgia-Texas TV channel, streaming
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to face the Texas Longhorns in the 2024 SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Athens, Ga.
The 5th-ranked Bulldogs (10-2, 6-2 SEC) and 2nd-ranked Longhorns (11-1, 7-1 SEC) will be featured on traditional television, with the contest aired nationally via ABC at 4:00pm ET. The game will also be available to stream. Chris Fowler will call the play-by-play, Kirk Herbstreit will provide analysis, while Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will report from the sidelines.
How can you watch the Georgia-Texas game? Below are the methods to watch the game on ABC and via online streaming.
ABC
The Georgia at Texas game will be available to watch live on ABC beginning at 4:00pm ET. ABC is broadcast locally in the metro-Atlanta area on Channel 2 on most cable and satellite services. ABC is also available for free over-the-air (OTA) with an appropriate antenna. For other providers or areas, check your local listings or a search engine.
ESPN3
If you have a cable (Charter, Spectrum, etc.), satellite (DISH or DirecTV), or a streaming subscription (YouTube TV, Hulu, etc.) and ABC/ESPN is part of your plan, then you also have access to streaming via ESPN3.
In order to stream the game on ESPN3, you will need to go to the WatchESPN website or the ESPN app on your device. After selecting the Georgia-Texas game, you will be asked to login using your qualifying TV provider credentials mentioned above (if you are not already logged in).

ESPN+
Most college football games on ABC this season were also available to stream via ESPN+, which is a separate, premium subscription service. It appears that the SEC Championship Game will not be available to view via ESPN+.

ESPN will also present a Skycast of the Georgia-Texas game on the SEC Network.
Following the SEC Championship Game, the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff Bracket will be unveiled Sunday, Dec. 8 beginning at noon ET on ESPN. Georgia is expected to make the playoff field regardless of the outcome on Saturday.
If Georgia wins, the Bulldogs would lock up a top four seed and a first-round bye in the playoff. A loss would mean Georgia will likely host a first-round game at home in Athens on either Friday, Dec. 20 or Saturday, Dec. 21.
